        Blessing

“I will bless you … so that you will be a blessing.” - Genesis 12:2

We are a group of Anglican clergy and lay people who wish to see the Anglican Church of Canada extend blessings to same-sex couples.

We are working together to promote wholeness in human relationships, to abolish prejudice and oppression, and to heal the rift between sexuality and spirituality in the Church. We believe that full inclusion of all the baptized into the Body of Christ is not an issue that will split the church but is an opportunity that will help grow the church .

We are circulating an open letter to members of General Synod 2007, which will meet in June in Winnipeg.

Here is the text of that letter. If you are a Canadian Anglican, or an Anglican worshipping in Canada, please consider adding your signature to the letter: details of how sign up are here. The list of those who have already signed is here.

If you have any questions, please send us an email.

Over 2100 persons have signed this letter.
Please consider adding your name to this growing list.
